BACKGROUND BEAUTY
The day 1 crab apple image above is one of my favourites.
It perfectly achieves what I look for as a bokeh photographer.
Bokeh is a photographic term, derived from the Japanese word for ‘blur’ or ‘haze’
and refers to the aesthetic quality of out-of-focus areas in an image.
This is never an accident.
Bokeh photographers are always looking beyond the focal point
because, to us, the backgounds tell just as strong a story.
In the photo above, the combination of colours in the background
are perfectly harmonized, just like musical notes combining to form chords.
When I look at images like this, it makes my whole body feel ‘harmonized’.
N8ture’s colours are such a pure and powerful form of colour therapy.
Bokeh’s background beauty is a great metaphor for your glorious S.E.L.F.
who has been in the background, all these years, sending you beauty full energy.
Now that we’re finally connecting with the energy of this essential part of us,
the beauty we can co-create is no less than magnificent!
