COURAGE
I couldn’t find anything on the symbolism of
yellow and red irises, but both yellow ones
and red ones are associated with
COURAGE.
Courage is the ability to do something
that frightens you.
Sometimes positive changes feel
scary because, for some people,
all change is scary.
For others, setting a goal for positive change
and doing the work to reach that goal
feels like a wonderful thing.
Even, if change doesn’t feel scary to us,
it helps to remember that there are other parts
of us (inner children/traumatized selves) who feel
scared even when the ‘grown up’ part does not.
This is why INTRA-PERSONAL communication
is so incredibly important.
When you feel like change isn’t happening as easily
and effortlessly as you would like it to,
it’s always helpful to check in with yourself
and ask some questions.
CREATIVE COURAGE
Today, I coloured for the second day in a row.
What a luxury!
While I was giving you so many
opportunities to colour, I was too deep into
content creation to find the time.
Now that I have started doing it again,
I feel so lucky and it’s making the my
colouring pleasure even stronger!
Today, I was creatively courageous again,
combining the colouring page with
more freehand drawing.
CREATIVE COURAGE is the freedom
to explore ideas while being unattached
to the ‘success’ or ‘failure’ of your creation.
As I was exploring, I came up with a
8eautyfull palette of colours that I wanted to share .
the palette was inspired by the concept of
CREATIVE, POWERFUL SELF~LOVE.
Remember when I said self~love isn’t just gentle?
I used pink as the foundation and added the
power of red, the creativity of orange
and the joy of yellow.
Here are the colours:
RASPBERRY, RUBY RED, MAGENTA, BUBBLE GUM,
SALMON, YELLOW ORANGE, MANGO & PEACH.
If you don’t have time to colour, you could
just pull these pencils out and look at them!
