THE SAME FEELING OF FLOW THROUGH MENTAL-MOTION EXERCISES
AND MENTAL COLOURING EXERCISES.

IN CLASS, WE TALKED ABOUT OUR ENERGY CENTRES (CHAKRAS)
AS WELL AS COMPLEMENTARY COLOURS.
In a nutshell, when an energy centre is in alignment,
it vibrates at the same frequency as a particular colour of the rainbow
and a particular musical note (C, D, E, F, G, A or B).
When an energy centre is out of balance, it vibrates either too slowly or too quickly.
One way we can bring it back into alignment is to use its complementary colour frequency.
This week, we’re going to work with:
~ complementary colours
~ your least favourite colour,
~ two-handed colouring (to activate both hemispheres of your brain).
This exercise really packs a wallop!
1) On this week’s image, you’ll see a line down the middle.
On one side you will use 3 variations of your least favourite colour
and on the other, you’ll use 3 variations its complementary colour (see below for specifics).
2) TARA, KATHRYN and BARBARA:
use SKY BLUE, CERULEAN & TRUE BLUE on one side and
LIGHT ORANGE, MANGO & ORANGE on the other.
LAUREL:
use RASPBERRY, RED, & RUBY RED on one side and
LIME GREEN, AQUA GREEN & TURQUOISE on the other.
3) You don’t have to do the whole mandala using 2 hands,
but do at least a few sections to engage both hemispheres.
For example, you could have an orange in one hand and a blue in the other.
*REMEMBER: tell your non-dominant hand to copy
what your dominant hand is doing, as well as pretending that
your non-dominant hand IS your dominant hand!
When you’re done, this colouring page will have 1 colour on the left
and its complementary colour on the right.
As you colour this week,
imagine that your least favourite colour is being cleansed and aligned
by its complement and, just like last week’s exercise,
imagine that the colour is asking you to bring it into alignment.
*SPEND AT LEAST SOME OF YOUR COLOURING TIME
LISTENING TO MUSIC!
HOW WILL YOU ACTIVATE S.A.M. TODAY?
If you can’t find the time to do any colouring today, do 1 of the following:
~add on another queening session
~do some scarf dance
~find an iris image from this week’s feature balls, or one of the colouring balls below,
and actively drink it in as you fill up with beauty fuel.
AND/OR
~simulate ANY or all of the above using the powers of your mind and the magic of inner space!
